How to Help Your Employees Be as Productive as The First Day of Work

August 7, 2018 by Terriss Tained

Employees are a great factor to make your business a long time on-going business. They are the hands of the company, the gas that fuels the engine to make faster improvements. Your employees are your responsibility as well; they work for you by helping you keep your business on the go. There will come a time that some of these employees will lack productivity because of several reasons. It’s either the company’s treatment to their employees are not good or it is just personal dilemma. Employees are not just people you pay to work but they are individuals who are under your care once they started to work for you.

The Fine Line Between Employer and Employee

First and foremost you are an employer; you are responsible with your employee’s actions. You choose whether you are the kind of employer that is feared or loved by your helping hands. If you have chosen the latter, then you know how to approach your employee well. You get to know them one by one, talk to them with personal lives and laugh with them. Even if you are close with a few people in your company don’t let them slack off. Never let them think that your closeness to them can give them credit to not be productive. If you notice that some of your employees losses the touch of productivity then here are 3 ways to help them be as productive as the first day of work.

A  Fine Would Be Good

Set a rule in your small company that has an equivalent consequence if they failed to do so. For example, someone who is caught sleeping should pay a fine. As someone gets caught numerous times his or her fine will increase. This can give a push to your employees to work and not sleep.

A Reward at The End of The Month

For every employee that hasn’t lost the sense of productivity for a long time a reward awaits at the end of each month. The reward could be either something from their wish list or a part of their daily necessity such as groceries or appliances. The motivation here is that if they get to have the reward they can save a lot from their actual pay that the company will give.

Communicate

There must be a reason why some of your employees can’t get their head in the game. They can’t find productivity because of some personal reasons. Personal feelings can hinder them from doing their job well. If you happen to notice this, talk to them, hear their side before scolding them from slacking off. Once they tell you their reason, let them know that you have to see what you can do in order to be of help to them.

5 Productivity Tips to Make Your Business On Going

May 7, 2018 by Terriss Tained

As a business owner your time is in your hands. You set your own schedule and what your schedule contains. The business can be inside your house or somewhere you can easily reach. This few steps and one call away situation makes everything effortless.  Having a phone on your hand can also be another method that can help you do your agenda with just a click away. However, these methods can also make you lazy. You want to be productive but you have no will to do so because you just want to stay at home and handle everything there. Business could also improve that way but taking care of your business personally is much better.

Productivity is Key

Let’s say that you are business wise but you lack productivity then nothing will happen. You may collect your ideas, still actions are required to make your ideas happen. As what the Law of Inertia by Sir Isaac Newton states, a thing can only be moved with a force. Productivity works that way, you cannot be called productive if you will not be in motion. If you are a business owner who gets tempted to be unproductive then here are 5 tips to be productive to make your business on going.

Strictly Follow Your Schedule

You need to be a man with one word. Stick to what your schedules tells you. Don’t add things on your schedule that isn’t related to your business. If you want to do something not business related like going to the mall or staying inside your bedroom then make another set of schedule for your personal enjoyment.

Set Aside Your Personal Feelings to Your Business

One of the things that can make you procrastinate is your personal feelings. When you feel sad or a little bit under the weather you don’t want to do other things. Set this aside; make your feelings as your motivation to do business well.

Make Your Business  a Priority

Since it is your own business you should remind yourself that this is your priority. You started this business that’s why it is your responsibility.

Check Your Business Personally

Nothing is much better than knowing your own business personally. Handle it wisely; you should know the strength, weakness, opportunities, and threats of your company. When you know your business well you have an idea on what to improve and what to change. This makes managing your business much easier.
